It's Been A While

    So it's been a while since I've updated our Blog so this one may be a little long. Our family has had a pretty busy month. We are all doing great and looking forward to this Spring-like weather and upcoming summer. We just registered Aiden for kindergarten last week. Me and Ashley also just celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Wed. I can't believe how fast time flies!!!!!
    So my "Home Away From Home" hotel room in Burlington finally ended about 3 weeks ago. I have moved on from my training and have been in my base store for 3 weeks now. My location is on Creedmoor Rd. and Strickland Rd. My location is one of the smallest and has the lowest numbers in the district. I have a well rounded set of employees and a great location. I have really started to settle in and have been doing great things for this company so far. We have led the district in Sales for the 3rd week in a row. (this is un-heard of at this location for the 4 years it's been open) We are starting a fresh quarter next month and I am looking forward to seeing what I can do on a fresh quarter. Overall the new job is going great!!!
    Along with me being busy at my new job we have had the pleasure to spend time with some out of town family this month. We had Rick come in town last week and spend a long weekend with us. It was such a blast! I haven't seen him in forever. We ate at all the good restaurants they don't have in Reno. Ashley, Rick and Aiden got to take a trip to Jumping Beans. I know that was a highlight of the weekend for Rick. hahah! (Putting choke holds on little bully kids) Bahahahahahah "Inside Joke" This week we have Shelby in town. It stinks because I have had to work most the time she's been here but it also has been a great week. Aiden is loving, having his Auntie Shelby here to play games with. Shelby, Ashley, and Aiden also took a day trip out to the Ashboro Zoo. It was a little early in the season so a lot of the exhibits were closed but Aiden definitely had a blast!! I had a pondering night this week, daydreaming of the first year I met Ashley and how young here sisters were. I remember those days after school going over to Cahaba Way (Ashley's parents old house) and babysitting little Carly and Shelby until mom and dad got home. It is amazing to me to see the women that Shelby has grown up to be.
    Ashley and Aiden are already looking forward to there vacation in Reno coming up. I am really hoping I can go but with this new job I don't know if I can get off. Ashley's granpa retired this past year and Grandma and Grandpa Luedke decided to take a long vacation and take a roadtrip with there camper. Last weekend I got an email saying, "This morning we are going to visit the Grand Canyon. This weekend we'll be in Vegas". They are going to camp in Reno for a month or so and that's the time Ashley and Aiden get to visit. That's going to be such a good time having all the Luedke family in Reno. I definitely will be posting some pictures of that week!!
