Aiden's Birthday

For Aidens Birthday me and Ashley decided to let Aiden have, "A Day of Aiden." For starters I was woken up by Aiden and he said, "I'm dressed lets go have fun." I will have to add a picture of what he was wearing. He came in my room with light blue and dark blue plaid shorts, a red white and dark blue striped shirt, and tar heel blue shoes. I had to make him change for where we were going but there will be a picture soon. I promise!
We started today with a trip to the mall. Every time we go Aiden wants to stop and watch the "jumping thing" and begs us to let him do it. Today we decided to surprise him and do it. Here are some pictures.

After the jumping thing we let him pick any restaurant that he wanted to eat at. Here it is!

We then took Aiden to the driving range. Well.......you have seen pictures of him on the range. No need to dwell there. After that we went to my parents house and had my grandparents over for a "Family Birthday Party" Here are a few pics.

Haha, I love Papa's thug hat!!!!

If I haven't mentioned Ashley made an awesome cake for the Dickerson Family Birthday Party. Aiden helped.

The next day was Aiden's real Birthday Party. We let him pick out the party and he wanted a Bowling party. Aiden invited 8 friends to his party. It was a mix of friends from pre-school, the YMCA, neighborhood friends, and children of our friends. Here is his some pictures of his bowling party.

The Art of Planking

LANKING: The art of Planking is to lay horizontally across any object or the ground with there arms by their sides aiming to occur in daring situations or a brotherly display of core-strength.

PLANKING: I know everybody has been wondering, “What is Planking” well let me explain. Planking is basically a game people play, where you have to lie down face forward with your arms at your side, in some random place, usually “planking” on top of something. After doing this, a picture has to be taken of you, and put on the Internet. The competition of the game, comes from having to find the most weirdest place to plank. This is basically it. Everybody is talking about it, because of the pictures. If you still don’t understand, what planking is, let me show you. Please feel free to send me pictures of you planking!!! I would love it!!!

So I figured I would give the few of you that didn't know what "Planking" was a definition or 2. Hopefully you understand and enjoy our photos. Me and Aiden had a blast doing this. It's simple fun but I had to take it to the next level. I did some balance planking myself. I always send the pictures to Rick, Carly in Reno and I finally got some pictures back. We have started a "Planking" war Dickerson's Vs Luedke's. Enjoy the photos and PLEASE send me some pictures of YOU planking and I'll post them on here!!!! Aidens First Mudcats game

So part of my birthday present Ashley got us tickets to a Carolina Mudcats baseball game. We went Mon. night and brought 2 of Aidens friends with there parents. As we pulled in, the excitement started. Aiden was going nuts over the stadium and all the players. When we got there we decided to go sit on the front row where the players were warming up for a bit. We were about 3 feet away from the other team stretching. As you know Aiden is not shy and decided to call out to every player that walked by, "Hey, baseball player!!" He talked to a few of them and met the other teams pitching coach. The coach liked how enthusiastic Aiden was for the game. Aiden kept showing him his glove he brought saying he was going to catch a fowl ball. Right before the game started the coach came over and threw Aiden a ball over the fence. He was in shock. A little later I saw a Buddie of mine that worked there. He ended up upgrading our seats to the 4th row right behind the first base. He also gave us free passes to a practice pitching booth for the kids. He later showed up with 3 balls signed by the Mudcats team. The boys loved it. Here are a few pictures of us at the game and a video of Aiden and his friends.
